Chef of the Future hi-fi play, better sound quality (for faster connections: 56k, DSL, etc.)

Chef of the Future lo-fi play (for slower connections: modems 14k, 28k, 33k)

From Bob Dee's Cosmosis "From Head To Soul" CD. NOW AVAILABLE!

Chef of the Future utilizes an Indian raga scale (C, C#, E, F, G, G#, B) with a drone backing it. The scale and drone are meant to build tension until it resolves to F where it slowly sneaks up on the blues. Definitely a unique composition!

The Preacher hi-fi play, better sound quality (for faster connections: 56k, DSL, etc.)

The Preacher lo-fi play (for slower connections: modems 14k, 28k, 33k)

From Bob Dee's Cosmosis "From Head To Soul" CD. NOW AVAILABLE!

The Preacher just seemed to roll off the right side of my brain effortlessly after a particularly rousing Sunday at the Harlem church where I play regularly. We tried to capture the feel of an inspired but focused Gospel preacher with a lot to say. This tune smokes! Currently available: Buy the CD!

Meandering hi-fi play, better sound quality (for faster connections: 56k, DSL, etc.)

Meandering lo-fi play (for slower connections: modems 14k, 28k, 33k)

From Bob Dee's Cosmosis "From Head To Soul" CD. NOW AVAILABLE!

Essentially an up-tempo jazz tune, Meandering features a lot of sycopation. It's a high energy piece, and Adam's solo burns on the CD. Currently available: Buy the CD!

Just East of Shannon hi-fi play, better sound quality (for faster connections: 56k, DSL, etc.)

Just East of Shannon lo-fi play (for slower connections: modems 14k, 28k, 33k)

From Bob Dee's Cosmosis "From Head To Soul" CD. NOW AVAILABLE!

Just East of Shannon is reminiscent of the music I played with drummer Ronald Shannon Jackson. It uses concepts and scales derived from Eastern musics as well as free jazz.

Head Circus hi-fi play, better sound quality (for faster connections: 56k, DSL, etc.)

Head Circus lo-fi play (for slower connections: modems 14k, 28k, 33k)

Sweet Pea hi-fi play, better sound quality (for faster connections: 56k, DSL, etc.)

Sweet Pea lo-fi play (for slower connections: modems 14k, 28k, 33k)

From the 1998 release - Bob Dee Band "Double Talk" CD. IN STOCK

This tune features a 6/8, African feel. "technically impressive as well as entertaining" JazzTimes Magazine April, 1999. Currently available: Buy the CD!

Room To Grow hi-fi play only I wrote this tune in 1996. It is slow in tempo, with a very lyrical and emotive melody. The opening line of the melody starts low in the register and climbes up in a legato style to reach it's pinnacle in an almost crying fashion. It was inspired by my desire to grow spiritually as well as musically. I have added only the high quality mp3 because I feel that the lower quality rm compromises the quality too much. This is the full-length cut. It's free and is ONLY available here, so download it and enjoy it! -bd

Touchtones hi-fi play only Here's another tune I wrote in 1996. Not unlike Room To Grow, I regret having left Touchtones out of my Double Talk CD, so I've decided to upload this as well as Room To Grow as bonus tracks. I used the same type of Holdsworth-like sound as I did on Room To Grow, not by choice so much as serendipitously. Download and enjoy! -Peace -bd
